The first floor living area takes full advantage of sea views with a large balcony opening from the spacious kitchen/dining room - ideal to enjoy a lazy breakfast or relax and watch magnificent sunsets. Completed to a very high specification, this self-catering holiday house is very comfortable and has beamed ceilings and a cosy wood-burning stove.

The property comprises Entrance hall. Utility room. Two double bedrooms with 5ft bed, en-suite shower room with toilet. Two twin bedrooms. Bathroom with shower cubicle, Jacuzzi bath and toilet.

First floor: Spacious, beamed living room with wood-burning stove and french doors with wrought iron guardrails. Beamed study with TV, traditional gas stove and sofa-bed (for +2). Large kitchen/dining room with gas range for cooking and french doors to balcony with garden furniture.

Chapman House also has a large, secluded, lawned garden including a childrens’s play area. Dogs are permitted.

There is a shared games room with pool table, table tennis and darts and tennis court.

Surrounding Area

The historic town of Bideford is worth a visit for its independant shops, cafes and regular farmers markets.

The famous surfing beaches of Westward Ho! (4 miles) and Bude are an easy drive away. Bikes can be hired to explore the nearby Tarka Trail and there is sailing, water2 skiing, golf and riding available locally. There are numerous National Trust properties in the area as well as the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Visit Hartland Abbey and the charming village of Clovelly (6 miles). The Infinity Outlet Shopping Centre which contains a large supermarket is just 2 miles away.
